As a textile designer living in today’s world, I believe in the
importance of integrating the traditional handwork on the one hand, with the
modern machinery on the other. In a fast pace world, where everything is done
in an “immediate” manner, and is forgotten the next moment, I feel that I have the
opportunity to take a step back, slow down, and pay attention to the small
details and the fine tuning.
The way we perceive time today, raises many questions regarding art and design,

I can only hope for us to stop for one moment and pay attention to the small details that are right in front of us.
The relationship between handwork and machine work allows me to maintain delicate handcraft and to slow down, without staying behind in the modern world of art and design.
